Our company is dedicated to helping children reconnect with nature through immersive learning experiences that foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the natural world. Evelyn
Evelyn is a passionate and dedicated educator with extensive experience in both traditional and outdoor learning environments. As a qualified primary school teacher, Evelyn has worked with children of all ages, from early years through to primary school, fostering a love of learning and supporting each child’s individual growth. With a background as an Early Years Practitioner, Evelyn is committed to providing nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate experiences for young children, laying a strong foundation for their lifelong learning journey.
In addition to Evelyn's qualifications in primary education and early years, she is a certified Forest School Leader, allowing her to lead children in outdoor learning environments. This qualification enables children to connect with nature, develop practical skills, and build emotional resilience in a hands-on, experiential setting. Evelyn believes in the power of outdoor education to foster creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, creating memorable and enriching learning experiences.
With a wealth of experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Evelyn is particularly skilled at providing tailored support for children with a variety of learning needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. This experience has shaped Evelyn's approach to education, ensuring that every child receives the individual attention and encouragement they need to succeed, whether in the classroom or during forest school sessions.
By blending traditional teaching practices with outdoor learning, Evelyn creates a positive, inclusive, and inspiring environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of all children. Whether indoors or in nature, Evelyn is dedicated to helping every child thrive and reach their full potential.

Hi, I’m Evelyn — a qualified primary school teacher, Forest School leader, Reiki practitioner, and doTERRA essential oils advocate. I’m also a passionate facilitator of women’s wellness and fire circles.
After years in the classroom and working closely with children, I felt a strong calling to connect more deeply with nature and holistic healing. That led me to start my own small business — Exploring Nature — combining my love for education, nature, and wellbeing.
My mission is to bring the healing power of nature to both children and adults, creating safe, nurturing spaces where everyone can reconnect, explore, and grow.
🌱 Forest School Sessions
Each week, I run nature-based sessions for:
– Pre-schoolers
– Home-educated children
– Children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
– Saturday Forest School sessions
I also work directly with preschool nurseries, bringing Forest School into their everyday environment. These sessions support emotional resilience, creativity, confidence, and curiosity — all through outdoor, child-led play.
🔥 Women’s Wellness & Fire Circles
Once a month, I hold a sacred circle for women — a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves and each other. Around the fire, we share, meditate, and honour whatever phase of life we’re in. It’s a grounding and deeply nourishing experience.
💫 Reiki & Essential Oils
I offer 1:1 Reiki sessions to support emotional, physical, and energetic balance. These gentle, healing sessions are enhanced with doTERRA essential oils, chosen intuitively to support your specific needs.
Whether I’m working with little ones splashing in muddy puddles or holding space for a woman around the fire, everything I offer is rooted in connection, compassion, and nature.
